Able to rotate 360 degrees, the locking mechanism is strong, giving all modellers confidence that their models and parts will not move when locked in place. You can angle the vice head up to 45 degrees to give you the perfect painting angle. The jaws of this vice have a smooth action and are open to a maximum of 30mm. Look no further if you are looking for the ultimate in hand-held vices.

The vice offers modellers a multi-purpose hand vice that is comfortable in the hand. The bearings in the handle give a smooth rotation that you can control with high accuracy. And then you have found just the right angle to paint or attach some parts together; the locking mechanism is superb.

I’ve been looking for something like this for some time, there are plenty of options ranging from the improvised to the engineered like this.
It is supplied in a robust cardboard box with the components in soft, shaped indentations.
Construction is easy, the company video shows the various steps and there are three Allens Keys supplied. The only oddity is the non-slip base which is oversize, a quick bit of trimming resolved this.
The camming action is very positive using the blue key, I found it easier to use than the nut used for adjusting the jaws
Yes, it is pricey, but on first use I think it will be around for a long time.
